    Default The Ultimate Sleeper

    I haven't seen a thread on this but it has been mentioned a few times. This is the ultimate sleeper for sure. The power comes from a 402 cid LS-2 1250hp capable long block engine w/Twin ROTREX C38-81 Superchargers with Twin liquid to air intercoolers.

    "At the 2006 Hot Rod magazine pump gas drags Kurt Urban director of operations piloted the super sleeper Nova to a best et to date at 9.680 @ 146.91 mph with plenty left in the car once some bugs are worked out and. Stay tuned for further perfomance updates and be sure to check out the Nova on the 2006 Hot Rod Power Tour!"

    Some of my favorite things about it is the intercooler location, tucked/hidden roll cage and the cut outs in the floor for the exhaust to be tucked up high. That car is straight sick.

    sleeper my my @ss a roll cage and the big size tires on the back yeah right what car would race a car like that on a red light. and plus how quiet do you think this would sound with not 1 but 2 supercharger.

    go to the link I posted with the whole build up. The tires arent that big....wait, you probably have 205's on your car....so they are big to you, but they arent big to me. How many pictures can you actually see the roll cage? Are you telling me that if you pulled up beside it @ a red light that you would have enough time to see it? If so, you are more observant than I. Also, do a little research on those superchargers. Just because they are there doesnt mean they are loud...

    Im sure he was refering to the exhaust work on the car. I also agree with the guy. What 1,000HP+ engine, sounds quite as hell?

    That's not sleeper. Those cars are forces of nature to be rekoned with in other countries besides here. A G14B built up is good for a 11 second pass or better. A K20 is a waste in comparison and has 1 too many gears. For the amount of money spent to power that metro, the G14B could've been installed and built up and slaughtering that K20. That's a FAIL on the owner's behalf and on yours for actually believing that financially it was a win.

    I agree way better sleeper than the Geo, but I also would say that I doubt that thing is quiet.... the low stance would prob alarm me as well.

    BAER ‘Serious Street’ 4 wheel disk brake system

    * Front 2 piston calipers with cross drilled and slotted 11” rotors
    * Rear single piston calipers, with cross drilled and slotted rotors
    * Dual chamber master cylinder

    I would say the brakes are sufficient.

    not once did I ever even hint that the car is mine. If you read the text and click the link that is provided in the first post above the pictures, you wouldnt of had any of the thoughts that you just wrote down...

    not to mention, if it was mine, I wouldnt be showin it off on IA. I'd be out waxin ass's and taking peoples cars home.
