3.70 rear huh? That may knock a little time off right there compared to a 4.10
I bet it would be nasty with slicks.

with a 4.10 you would run out of gear too fast with that much hp. a 3.73 would probably be the gear ratio of choice. Without going into overdrive, with a 4.10 rear end that car would probably top out around 130mph or so. It really depends on the height of the rear tires as well as the final drive ratio. Most drag cars, even if equipped with overdrive will not use it since any ratio under 1.00 causes a loss in efficiency.

Well spoken sir. I see your point. I guess I'm used to powerglide tranny's and tall ass tires

I bet it would be fun as hell ont the street. Probably doesn't handle all that bad either (in muscle car terms)

With the weight of the car a 3.08 gear would work fine. My 5000 lb brick has a 3.42 gear in the back and tall tires. Turbos love load.

3.08 lololol hell naw. the taller the gear the greater the torque 3:73 gears or 4 :10's if you wanna max it out in the quarter. 3:42's would be straight for the daily driven street"racer"but then again it all depends on converter and cam specs doesnt it? hehehe im sure its nasty with the gears they mentioned
    yes i am....
