i would do whatever i could to keep the sol, but if i had to pick i would get the last one you put up, the civic is alright but its an auto, i know you dont want an auto
ill sell you your truck back
no thanks... i got used to 30 mpgs! hahaOriginally Posted by topsecret2JZ
i dont want an auto but i'd sit in the right side drivers seat and rock it with the D all day!! haha
yeah i want to keep my sol and i will try and buy it back but these are just some options
Give me your sol should be an option lol
To stay on topic I would have went with the ek if it wasnt an auto
I would get the last car. Del sol vtec.
the last del sol...looks well kept and maintained
How much is that EK?
FUCK GRAN TURISMO EAST!! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!![]()

Id probably go with the vtec del sol, that EK is neat but you dont wanna go through the bull**** of maybe getting it actually registered
94 delsol vtec
Hella stock member!
yeah thats what joe keeps saying about registering it, but i know it can be done... theres silvias and skylines running around... i posted a thread to see if someone knows the difficulties of it.Originally Posted by green91
i think it would be pretty cool... i gotta see if anyone replies to that thread
simply put, if you do get it registered its through a loop hole in a state that isn't as stringent on imported vehicles, and even then after you've gotten it titled in that particular state you've gotta then transfer the title to Georgia and hope they don't give you grief over that. its not a very easy or straight cut process. if you do decide to go for it, i would definitely just pay someone to go through the registration and shipping hassles. and even AFTER all that and you actually get it, and the end of the day you've still got a slow automatic EK hatch with the steering on the wrong side which leaves you open for us postal service duty and thats about it.
haha... its not always about the speed... it would be purebred honda, which you have to appreciate it... and its clean as sh*t!... AND its only got 50,000 miles on it haha...Originally Posted by green91
but yeah i would probably register it in some place in alabama and the place i would get it from gives you a price for everything till it gets to the port so the car ends up being a pretty good price for a 96 EK w/ 50,000 miles
from the choices....subaru is not an option?
all the subies were too expensive and i dont know how to work on them... i'll stick with my hondas for now... but i do like subies fosho
Im selling my evo if you're interested let me know..

dude it was just a del sol... im not getting over $7000. i'll be lucky if i can squeeze $6000 out of them. and to get that i'll probably have to send them to wikipedia to show them that they only sold 75,000 del sols in all 5 years in the US, and show receipts for all the things i have done, and then send them to autotrader to show them what factory 94 del sol VTEC's are going for...
but thanks for the offer... dont get me wrong... i'd drive the sh*t out of it... i just cant afford it.
lol.. you can always get a loan, I'm kidding bro hope everything works out with the insurance company
I said DelSol "VTEC" BUT I would choose something else then those on the list.
I'd go with the EK. It is an automatic, but its not hard to slap a B16 with a MT in there. Just get a few more interior pieces, but a small price to pay for a sweet lookin' hatch!![]()
“When convention and science offer us no answers, might we not finally turn to the fantastic as plausibility?” Spooky
yeah the hatch def. has uniqueness and if i buy the del sol back from the yard then i have a b16a w/good 5 sp tranny hehe...
Theres a clean 2nd gen gs300 for sale at a house on Buford dr about 3 miles east of the mall of GA. Dark red for $7500, I saw it on my way home tonight.
Go with the rhd civic, my opinon that skyline is so ugly............
RHD FTMFW with no questions Tranny swap is very easy man
FYCN in a rick james voice
get the rhd ek and convert it! end of discussion! lol
i would've gone for the EK but its a shame is an automatic.

maybe u should make a change, and look for something else? you could find alot of decent cars for 6k.
That's a nicer way to say what I'm thinking....Originally Posted by JITB

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
thats what i want... i like those body styles and i like the options for upgrades and the fuel economy and the price of parts and the price of the vehicles themselves...Originally Posted by 87 Turbo II
i LOVED my sol... so i have kinda decided that i want to do what i can to fix mine... i think it'll be the easiest most cost efficient thing to do right now.
understandable, but i did the same thing... as soon as i got what i wanted... what i really wanted from abother type of car (4door gsr)..popped up..lolOriginally Posted by clean_sol
but id go with the civic... but than it woudl be gay to buy it and not be able to make it legal.. so del sol it is..lol
the vtec sol for sure the potential in that car on the stock motor is alot better than your other options and i dont mean to offend sohc owners since i am one of them
d15b7 fs 300obo has to go soon
I would say the ek but it is hard to get it legalized and registered
The last del sol looks clean and well maintained.....and work your butt off to buy your car back do the swap and walaa. or if you go with the right hand drive you can alway do the manual swap. But is the ek going to be in your price range after its here?
Ford Taurus FTMFW.
K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
eg6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I CANT FIND THE 94 VTEC ON AUTO TRADER ANYMORE!!!!!! AHHHH... THIS IS A DISASTER!... THAT THING WAS BEAUTIFUL!
... sigh.
i found a couple others though. i found a 97 in pretty good shape... we'll see...
i just wish the adjuster would call me and let me know whassup
stay with the del sols
that vtec looks good but the s has lower miles .... no autos lol
I FOUND MORE OPTIONS!!!!!... anyone know much about bimmers and how they hold up??
both are in my hopeful budget as well as many more... but these are the shining stars
and i dont give a sh*t if they are A/T... i will be putting 19-20's and a system and be done... i'll have a honda later to tinker with... if i got a bimmer, i would just ride out like i did in the big dodge haha, but with better MPGS!
