I know when i sell a land deal, i try to wait a year. because if i dont, its short term capital gains = 45% tax. And there is no getting around that. This is the business i am begining to know, so i see the taxes. Now do other sectors maybe get away with getting a 100% write off on the CEOs new ferrari? I hope not.
