    Companies have lists of current shareholders. No matter how many shares you're holding you'll typically have voting privileges and be able to recieve prospectus' and other materials from the company.

    CIT Group filed for bankruptcy today.

    On a side note, Euro has made substantial recovery in the early hours.. done nicely and holding at the 1.4830 resistance after gaining 60 pips.
