honesly????? none of them man.... power platforms are too weak IMO. If I I really had a chance i would take the f22b and boost it....
YEAH F22B HAS LOWER COMPRESSION ITS 8:0:1 REAL GOOD FOR TURBO
none of the about f22b parts hard to find, if you want boost f22a will suite you just find. I've seen people put down almost 300hp on stock block and the car was a DD. I have heard nothing but horror stories from the f22b dohc.

i rather just spend the money on a swap than turbo neither of those motors
f-22A non vtec is a good allmotor setup if you have the money it will make 280s all day
you can run boost on a f22a all day as long as it is tuned and you dont get boost happy.

Ive never heard of a sohc vtec f22a. go with the f22b for the extra cam. boost is very ideal for both motors. f22b are also oil starvation motors. Take that into considration. The f22a u r talking about comes out of a 90 93 accord and the f22b is the replacement motor for the h23 in 92-96 preludes. I would go with the F22b for sure!!

F22B. They are only oil starved if you don't put oil in them; also helps to modify the oil pump with a bit of port work and higher oil pressure.
This one shall see a 55 shot again very soon. I picked it up recently w/ a 92 Accord from a friend who ran it w/o ANY oil. The first owner of it, before it was sold and blown up, was goinfasterthanu for five years w/o any issues.

A f22a6 doesnt have vtec. No 90-93 accord came with vtec. Which made me really upset. The f22a6 is the strongest out of all the f22a's because of its dual runner intake. Go with f22b cuz the B stands for boost

Your F22b2 is not to far off the F22b! The jdm one has about 10-12 more horses and a extra cam! u: 150hp jdm: 160hp

Im almost postive it has more than 130. 90-93 accord f22a1=130 f22a4=130 f22a6=140. 94-97 accord f22b1=150 f22b2=130. Yeah u are right! I thought u had a ex cd5 accord!
fuck both of them... If you HAVE to get a F series, get a F20B... best of both worlds... DOHC and VTEC... Kinda like a destroked H22A, and has the same head casting as a jdm H22A Type S. It also has standard cylinders, not FRM like the H22A, which means you can bore it and hone it with no problems... You can get a F20B with LSD tranny on ebay for less than $2g's... all motor ftw!!!
