    Ive never heard of a sohc vtec f22a. go with the f22b for the extra cam. boost is very ideal for both motors. f22b are also oil starvation motors. Take that into considration. The f22a u r talking about comes out of a 90 93 accord and the f22b is the replacement motor for the h23 in 92-96 preludes. I would go with the F22b for sure!!

    F22A has no VTEC F22A6 is SOHC VTEC my bad, I like f22b cuase of Dual

    F22B. They are only oil starved if you don't put oil in them; also helps to modify the oil pump with a bit of port work and higher oil pressure.

    This one shall see a 55 shot again very soon. I picked it up recently w/ a 92 Accord from a friend who ran it w/o ANY oil. The first owner of it, before it was sold and blown up, was goinfasterthanu for five years w/o any issues.
