    Default Bigdare23 new motor

I just wanted to share my new motor with IA. I had this motor installed for about 4-5months now. I'm just now sharing this with IA because I wanted to make sure I was long gone (moved) before I put specs of my motor out (Theft rate in Atlanta is increasing like everyday LOL). Anyways...

    The original motor was

    -OBD0 B16
    -LSD Y1
    -PW0 ECU
-Skunk2 intake manifold (1st gen) (no coolant lines running to the manifold)
    -Hondata intake manifold gasket
    -CTR intake cam
    -B16 exhaust cam
-Greddy 4-2-1 header (for 99 Si)
-AEM fuel rail (I'm a ricer so I wanted a red fuel rail LOL)
    -AEM CAI (2in)
    -Skunk2 catback
    -Test pipe
    -unorthodox race crank pulley
With this setup, I put down 156hp/11?tq (Mainstream can verify)

Next, I changed some stuff with this setup
    -installed CTR exhaust cam
-swapped out the Skunk2 catback with a Buddyclub spec II
-installed Toda cam gears (kept them at 0,0)
-swapped out the AEM CAI (2in) with an AEM EF hybrid CAI (2.5in)
-added an Bpi Velocity Stack to my CAI
-Converted to OBD1 and used a chipped p28 with a GSR map

    The results were the following:

176hp/117tq (Dyno at Topspeed, JDMJAYDC2 and Bus Driver J can vouch).

That setup was pretty fun. The problem was it was PEAKY. At 5.5k I made 100hp and peaked at 176hp at 8.2k (76hp gain in in 2700rpms LOL), so every time I shifted it fell flat on it face. With this motor and it being in a 2080lb chassis (CRX), I made easily work of most other b16s, I shocked a few 1.8L, but I could not hang with the 2.0+ crew. So it was time for an upgrade. (Cont'd next post)
