You took your windshield wipers off because it looks "cleaner."
You took your windshield wipers off because it looks "cleaner."
I just don't follow the reasoning. I never even notice mine when I look at my car. And RainX doesn't help during heavy rain.
if i take mine off, i carry them in my car with tools to put them back on if it does start raining.
a lil much if you ask me. but to each their own.

pretty stupid for a street car, maybe remove a hatch wiper but deff not the front.
It's one of the most retarded Honda trends ever.
stop being a moist vagina and do it. even though i still have mine on..
lol if taking your windshield wiper makes your car look better you mind need to improve in other departments as well!
Talking about removing windshield wipers for a cleaner look is like a fat person talking about how he needs to remove his radio to save weight in his car so it'll be faster...
But real talk, if I had a weekend car, I would probably remove the wipers. But on my daily driven street car, fuck that.
It's stupid. If I ever thought it was a good idea, I would realize how much of an idiot I was when driving virtually blind on a rainy day or getting soaked to the bone trying to put my wipers back on.
UGA: Everybody is laughing at us this year.
all day ever day no wipers
i hart haters.
honda owners maybe the only group that take off extra options and accesories, and than want triple the value of their car when they wan to sell it!

Replacing the blades is a whole other topic.![]()
Trend settin'
i don't even take them off of my truck... i didn't know people did that shit. who gives a fuck if it looks cleaner? functionality over fashionality people!!!! when you crash into a median because you took your wiper blades off to look clean, you'll see what i mean.
Drillin' switches on them bitches!
Ridin' So Low...
I took them off my mini truck. Removed the motors and shaved them bitches. It's never driven though. Even if I do drive it it never has and will never see the rain. Now my Talon wipers aint comin off. Rain = wipers on.
Stupid thing to do, but it's better than a single wiper blade conversion. lol
Leisa and S. 4 Life NM?
LOL! Stupid as fuck. If they're there from factory, they should stay there, they have a reason. I would hate to be in the rain with no wipers...

I take my windows out. IF it starts to rain I just put them back in. Makes my car look cleaner. Plus it reduces the weight. And if I get in a crash I can just jump out before impact
i replaced my wipers with an energy sheild.............. only problem i has is pullin under shelter 2 recharge it every 2 min

My subaru is the first car in about 5 years that I have owned that I have left the wipers on. Both my Dakota's, my civic, SRT4 and RX7 never had wipers on them. Rain or not. Rain-X all the way. If you don't keep your window clean (ie. every week) then it doesn't work so well but I showed both my trucks and never had a problem when it rained. It's to each there own but It looked 100 time cleaner.

When I chopped the top off my old car I took the wipers off... Obviously couldn't drive the car in the rain so why not?
100% hands down. With wipers you rely on a part to take the water off the window. With rain-x it sheds off the window with just the movement of the car or if its raining hard enough, just that. Its when its just barley pissing rain that it sucks until about 30mph. You cant even tell its raining until you go under street lights when its raining hard. When rain-x is use properly and you keep the window clean its just as good as wipers if not better. If you don't believe me try it. If you have and still think the same your applying it wrong or just lying to yourself. JITB I'd venture a guess you've never tried it with the comment you made. Not trying to get into an argument. I just know from experience how well it works and wouldn't think twice about pulling wipers off my DD and applying rain-x. I just don't EVER clean my current car now because it 1. I don't care about it and 2. It looks better muddy. Is it legal to not have wipers in the rain.... highly doubt it but Ive never been bothered for it or had problems seeing in the rain.

You guys didnt know? Taking off your windsheild wipers give you a few extra ponies.

Even if you're moving, if it's raining hard enough... All the RainX in the world won't help you.
