I've got a another I just have to mention.

The AJP8 "Speed Eight" was built for the TVR Cerbera and was the first engine developed solely by the company itself. They used to rely on other manufacturers' engines, such as the Rover V8. It's a 75 degree flat-plane crank V8...pretty much a racing engine. It made 360 bhp with 4.2 liters of displacement or 420 bhp with 4.5 liters. It was also very light for a V8, weighing only 267 lbs. Something funny I found out about the development of this engine...they engineered it to backfire loudly while the throttle was disengaged because they thought that was the sort of thing TVR owners would enjoy. Yea, TVRs really are ridiculous cars. Also, the engine looked like it was built by an alien. Difficult to find good pictures of it though. EJ, can you help me out? Hahaha.

This is the best I've got.
