I hate how many techs just hit the nuts with a 1/2 inch impact and call it a day. A lot of these guns produce up to 400ft lbs in just a few seconds. This is called a wheel-off. The tech should be fired and all repairs should be performed free of charge.
buddy of mine is a master tech at Toyota...I was using his Matco impact
to tighten lugs he said and i qoute "make sure you turn down the the level/pressure
on the gun, if not we'll br replacing luggs"

The nuts came off because they were the wrong thread pitch.

Anyone that puts lug nuts on with an impact has less brain cells than the lug nuts themselves.

find 1 shop thats making money in america that there tech or mechs dont do it. ive worked in 4 shops each 1 hit it with an impact and ride. time is money.

edit: unless it was a shop that only dealt with 1 brand of manufacture. i wont lie ive broke crank pully bolt with my ti ir.
