2.5 is what I was running
2.5 is what I was running
Soon!!
2.25 will be fine with a D but if you feel the need go ahead and get 2.5". It's not like you will be moving a huge amount of air. I'm curious to see what it makes. hurry up dude!
I say 2.5 for a good "D" build, more in and more out = POWER!!!!
Work in progressneed slicks!
^^^Not gonna be really that much in and out for less than 150 whp.
I made 130 on my z6 with no vtec and wasnt done tuning and my cam wasnt near as aggressive as his
Soon!!
Thanks guys. I'm trying my hardest to do it up right the 1st time so I'm very particular with what I buy and make sure I get it for the right price. Plus with helping my girl out at our new place, helping my mom and sister at their place, and working all the time I don't hardly see the civic let alone work on it. Anyone wanna come reinstall my suspension on the driverside so I can tow it? Lol
Well it looks like I'll be getting my transmission back form the shop tomorrow. That's one more thing off my very large check list. It's coming together guys stay tuned. Next up shaved and tucked bay while I get the motor assembled.
I just bought all the parts to put in an inline fuel filter and use a stainless line for the clutch. But mine is rhd so i needed a custom length for the clutch line.
This may help because it did for me

Thanks man. I hadn't even thought bout tucking/removing the fuel filter and replacing with a in line. Should be picking up some RC370cc injectors this weekend if they haven't sold yet.
UPDATE. I got the suspension back in yesterday. I still need parts to finish the motor and have it assembled. Tranny has been rebuilt and awaiting pickup at the shop. I need someone to tuck and shave my engine bay if you know anyone that does good work I'm all ears.
I did a similar build and made 157 whp and 121 wtq. i was quite dissapointed when i realized how much money i had spent vs how much power i got.

??????????????????-project
I know it won't make an incredible amount of power but if I make anywhere near 160whp I'll be more than happy. I have my supra that'll make the big numbers for me.
I'd be down.
I wanna get this done asap. I need injectors, head gasket, ARP studs, intake manifold gasket, exhaust, axles, intake, motor mounts, and have motor clayed and assembled. If you can help or have parts for sale for a D-series Pm me.
u shouldve bought my exhaust...... but nice build you have. i wanna be like you when i grow up!
Lol. I would like to have a 400whp D-series one day. I'll stick to below 170whp for now and leave the big numbers for my supra.

My supra is no where near done lol. It just sits in the garage waiting to be in the limelight. I started the civic build 1st so that gets my attention and completion 1st. However I have been working on restoring the interior on the supra in my spare time. Removing 24yr old plastic without damaging it is a real pita. Sourcing the maroon interior I have is another problem as well even though everyone in the mk3 community gets rid of it.
i need to find the link my friend sent me. 800 whp built z6.
Sounds like Bisi's wagon.
Started cleaning her up the other day after sitting outside for 2yrs. She is so damn dirty. In about 1 week I should be able to tow her over to my girls garage and be able to pull more stuff out of the bay clean and repaint parts. Anyone every swapped their power steering racks for an integra rack? I've read it helps a lot with the turning radius.
Here she is in the garage finally.
Yes I know there is slight frame damage on driverside.
This is the nasty that has accumulated over the last 2yrs.
What is the interior at the moment.
Got some work ahead but at least I have a decent place to work on her now.
One last pic as I get back to work on it.
Well the interior is pretty clean now the 2yrs of nasty is gone off most of the parts. I still need a few interior pieces so I can restore it back to mint stock condition. Will post up some more pictures once I find the cable for my digital camera. Progress being made thank god.
I always took the power steering out and changed to the manual racks with my setups. Change the sub frame(power to manual sub frame) out as well, so you dont have to rig on bolting down the passenger side of the rack to the frame. If you have both the frame and racks next to each other, then you will see the difference. Looks way better in the engine bay and i had no problem with turns or control..
Keeping all my creature conforts as this will be my "daily" after it's done. Thanks for the info on subframe swap with it though forogt bout that if I do it.
So all in all how much do you have into this little guy? Also ill run you with the scooter that should be fun lol
More than enough Corey. Lol brake line tuck to start this weekend and wire harness after that.
Woohoo for updates and pictures later tonight.
About time, lol jk..... Im thinking bout building a 500whp non vtec sohc, what u think?
Do it Twan. I'd like to see that personally. Sorry no pics last night I was too busy working and hanging out with family. Tonight though I promise.
Bwahahaha change of directions! Car is being parted out if you want anything LMK.
