At first, the fuel pump wouldnt turn off at key on, and the CEL was on with no codes. After letting it idle and run in the garage I went to the station and filled it up, when I got home it just died like the battery was dead. But when I tried to turn it over it turned on the Rad. fan...more on that later. So I put my charger on it on 100A for about 5-10 minutes and keyed on, fuel pump turned off, cranked right up. So I picked up a new battery, cranked her up, it ran for 30 seconds and shutoff again. At key on the main relay sounded like it was going to explode and the fan still came on instead of the starter turning over. So I took the relay and put it on another car, worked perfect.

Next I pulled the H2B harness off, and attached my stock harness at the 6 main plugs, pulled each and every relay out one at a time, moved ground locations in the engine bay, unplugged the dash harness at the fuse panel, put every relay in another car for testing, pulled the dash out to look for obvious burned wiring, put the Ecu on the other car (the CEL turns off like normal and ran the car fine), un-tapped the wiring at the ecu and fanned everything out, and still with my stock harness only plugged in at the 3 plugs on the passenger side (still had the dash in the car with the hazard plug and hvac harness attached) at key on it goes crazy, and the fan tries to start the car. That guy Murphy is my best friend I tell ya. Tonight Im going to pull out the heater core and blower and start the tracing of the wires I guess. To me its got to be somewhere between the Ecu and those 3 plugs. While Im here I might as well make a nice harness and do away with all the crap I dont need...but I need to start driving it cuz the LS1 needs new valve springs asap.
