Batlground: Which car should we build next

Hey everyone,

IF YOU VOTE PLEASE POST WHY YOU MADE THE CHOICE IN THIS THREAD.

So with all of my depriciating assets (cars) getting sold recently we are now looking for a new project car.

We want something that can do all of these things well. I would want at least 1000 hp in the new car. I also would want the best bang for the $$$$$$$$ spent. So getting a Viper ACR and putting twin turbos on it probibly would not be the best bang for the buck. We want big power and not a lot of spool so a 2 liter wont do it. I would say 2.7 liters at a minimum (example: Subaru stroker, lol, 1000 hp in a Subaru

). Just kidding, no 4 cylinders this time, 6 cylinder is the minimum.

Roll on race
Drag race
Time attack
Drift, not totally necessary since we already have 2 drift cars.

Gets my vote (played out, sure, but it would be nice to see an import shop build a domestic) and it would finally shut tracy up if you got one :P

Arent they already supercharged? But why build a Caddy when you can build a vette

Once upon a time, people associated us with Supras, then 240's then NO WAI we could build an Evo cuz we are a 240 shop, but built the fastest one around here for a while. We work on Vipers pretty frequently. A mustang here and there. A Lotus from time to time. Sometimes a mustang. Sure it's not what we are known for, but.......

i would like to see an r34 - those are the best imo.

but i voted for the cts-v. nothing pisses ppl off more than a 4dr grey haired lady-mobile raping face around a road course. and then drive back with the AC on. haha

the g8 gxp would be pretty nice to see built also.

I love that, too! That was my fav about the Evo—A/C, P/S, stereo system, etc. Hello Kitty stickers on a 4 door. Boy, was that a pisser to get walked on by. I miss it actually. I am so glad that Subaru is gone. No offense anyone. I just think it is hideous looking.

considered building a fast suv? that's something that hasn't been done to death. something like a tahoe, trailblazer ss, srt8, etc. put like a twin turbo setup in it and wax ass while being able to tow lol. just another idea, ya never know. it would be something that isn't seen very often at all, and everyone would certainly remember a people hauler running 10's if not 9's. im sure it would be possible to put a suspension underneath it to make it handle well also.

as far as what is on the poll i would have to go with the vette or a G8. they are both sexy as hell.

z06 best bang for the buck your already half way there...even not being an import it demands respect from both sides, great platform all around very sexy car, they did everything right and the feeling of power hits hard from what I hear.

I voted G8. They look sooo damn good. but i would say G8, ISF(cuz they are just bad as fuck), and the CTSV. in that order.

a honda would DEFINITELY be the "reinvention" they are looking for, and of course, the innovation part too.

I say other:

We don't see many modified Porsche's around here (at least not documented builds)

Also, I haven't seen much done with an Audi R8 which would be another amazing platform to have fun with.

911 or R8 is my vote

but I think it would be awesome to see a 1000+ whp bmw e39 m5 or 911, the turbo 996 models(my favorite) go for about 40k now which isn't too bad considering they start at 130 or so.

Yes the honda would be re invention and innovation. I think it would bring a lot of complexity to the table. All of those cars are already fast. Most of them have been done but not ALL of them! Hell, even Jodan and the guys @ Drift Emporium put Chevy V8s in G35s. I'm stuck on that all wheel drive thing. The corvette has seen every mod out there just about.

If you're referring to the blue g it was def a nissan titan 5.6l motor w/ stillen blower................

i say the g8 bc you don't see them as much. or an suv would be awesome like said above. both would help bring more attention to domestic vehicles. i know this is importatl but o well. we are in america.
