Yup. Now that I know what they are for I see no reason why they are needed in a race car or enthusiats car. They were designed for women who dont like vibrations.

FYI:its Kaizenspeed, they actually have a great write up on their site too as to what they are for and what they do. Our 2.0L recently sheared an aluminium crank pully at the hub!!! No load on it other than an altenator belt and a steel trigger wheel for crank timing. L4 are just nasty little beasts.
