I'm biased but I'd get a WRX. SRT-4's can be made faster for cheaper, but if your car is a daily driver, the creature comforts of the WRX win (plus AWD>FWD). It is a little less DIY friendly, but people do their own turbo swaps all the time.
Subaru also has a great built in community. If you ever have an install and need an experienced hand, buy some beer, post up on WRXAtlanta, and someone who has done it before will be there to help you out. Not to mention, you're a lot less likely to get pestered by ricers in a WRX wagon than an SRT4.![]()
