    If lowered properly, then yes. There are several benefits seen from slightly lowering a vehicle. However, cutting/heating springs to achieve a lower height is far from "proper" i believe. (not to say I've never done that )

    My father had one on his '95 Viper b/c the viper is very difficult to tow. There arent any easy access points to grab ahold of. it also looked sexy as hail!

    My car is lowered just fine. I'm barely pushing 70hp out of that engine so I'm in no need of a hard cornering car. And I can vouch for "improperly" heating/cutting springs to be plenty beneficial as I have proof of it working just fine.

    QD-to answer your question, it does serve a purpose to a degree. But I do understand that most cars, especially Hondas, come equipped with a factory tow point(s). Why add another? It makes it convenient for the tow truck driver and I believe if you track the car you must have one.

    i love my tow hooks! although mainly for looks (at least ill admit it) they may one day become functional! although i hope not to hit any walls at road atl this season!

    Most ppl get them for looks. b/c it's JDM. But its still a functional part.

    I see them on 240's more than anything with there lil yoshi stuffed animals on it. lol WTF?
