    you dont need the gsr head if you are going to turbo it.

    Its true about preference, but if you are building a motor for turbo, all motor, etc... I personally do not believe a straight ls is the way to go. It CAN make power, but you have to have DEEP pockets.. take for instance ILOVEBOOST's 630hp LS. And I have seen all motor LS's beat GSR's etc.etc... but if you are trying to make some power on a budget, ls is not the way to go.

    yeah your right, but i'm guessing he wants to go through with it anyways. i'd say go with the ls if you got deep pockets like emmino said. also if you don't feel like doing a motor swap then just ls turbo

    the ls is already in the 4dr. just trying to hit a goal of about 200whp or close to it by the end of this year. not something super crazy, just a simple goal. this is my first project car, btw.

    worth repeating - LS all motor projects can get expensive quick and take considerable thought and planning.

    But the finished product is something worth taking a lot of pride in.
