    Default In 2008, GM picked their 10 favorite cars they ever made... I really like #1 lol

    10. 1912 Cadillac

    9. 1910 Cadillac Model 30

    8. 1930 Cadillac V16

    7. 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

    6. 1927 LaSalle

    5. 1936 Opel Olympia

    4. 1996 EV1

    3. 1953 Chevrolet Corvette

    2. 1964 Pontiac GTO

    1. 1950 Saab 92

    Why do i like the 92 and 93 so much?

    4 words. Erik Carlsson and two stroke.

    But really.....besides the almighty Saab, where are some other heavy hitters?

    * 1969 COPO Camaro ZL-1
    * 1959 Chevy Impala
    * 1938 Buick Y Job
    * 1970 Chevy C10
    * 1963 Corvette Split Window
    * 1953 Cadillac Eldorado
    * 1987 Buick GNX
    * 1964 Buick Riviera
    * 2008 Corvette ZR1
    * 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28

    What else would you throw on the list?

    In a way you are right. GM bought Saab in 1990.

    It would be similar to buying Ferrari today and claiming all their heritage.

    What exactly was GM's involved in a car made by a company they didn't have any stake in until 40 years later?

    lol! That would be like Tata claiming heritage to the Jaguar XKE and Land Rover Series.

    Why not some more Opel and Vauxhall cars? This list is pretty depressing when you think about 100 years of cars and their top ten aren't even that exciting. They should have just gone down the list of Harley Earl cars and then filled in the rest with the EV1 and the Stingray and such.
    Does a COPO car really count, I don't think they can cheat by choosing a special order car.
    Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...

    The SAAB counts, GM owns that company. GM didn't necessarily have to make it, but a part of their collective group of brands did so why not.
