K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
Nah I asked cause I seen your car before, and just didn't think that it was yours. That 626 is clean though all you need is to STOP WRITING ON YOUR SH!T, and to wash it you'll be golden.lolOriginally Posted by blackshine007

that list is tupid.
WTF, BOV stupid mod? mmm hello, every car comes with a BOV. and after market BOV's wont go PSSSHHH PSHHH if you dont reach certain rpms, and if u let go of the gas slowely.
ANd DIY suspension is stupid?
I would never let anyone but me do my lowering on my car.
I don't think there's an aftermarket HID that is DOT certified for HID lights. But, I can tell you that most of your projector beam headlights are more suited to handling the light pattern of HID's. Just make sure that when you look inside the light that you have a wall looking item on the inside. It will be on the bottom side. When you shine the light on the inside, the beam gets reversed courtesy of the the shape of the lense. The block off plate is what is causing the cut off line when you turn the headlights on and point them at the wall. I think it's safe to say that as long as you have the block off plate within the inside of the light housing, it should be more than adequete(?) for HID's just be sure to adjust the level accordingly because it's gonna be pointing higher with the HID's.Originally Posted by twinj
As far as the car goes, I got extremely bored oneday and went crazy with my daughter's concrete chalk. I've since washed it. I want to primer it and paint it satin black and leave at that. I have zero primering skills but I'm pretty certain that if I tried, I'll probably do pretty well.

It's not really how high you rev it, but how much of a load you have on engine. Some cars at a stand still won't spool their turbo's very easy. That's mostly due to tuning. And for the record, not every turbo car came with a BOV or bypass valve, granted they suffered more from compressor surge due to the lack of BOVs. To know what a vehicle without a BOV sounds like, go stand at your MARTA bus stop. When the driver lets off it, you'll hear that god aweful sound that's going on with the turbo..... That's the compressor trying to spin backwards from lack of BOV.Originally Posted by Got Milk?
I can pretty much agree with the DIY suspension. Cut or heat springs in my book is a no no, particularly the heated springs. I can tolerate cut springs, just as long as it was cut off a bigger vehicle with a higher spring rate so when you cut it for your hieght, you won't have a bouncy ride.

Compressor surge sounds bad ass![]()

thats funny cus a buses brake system uses air instead of fluid, air moves faster than fluid and has more stopping power than a fluid system. can you guess what charges the air tanks for the brake system? and also when the air presure reaches around 120 psi in the tanks there is a air release valve that lets some air out. sound familiar?
Lol, I didn't even read anything but the first few posts. I guess someone drawing on their car with chalk is cooler than HID's.![]()

Everyone's wrong. These are the worst "mods" for your car.

imo i like how the FD sounded. rotary idle =![]()
if you have non progressive springs cutting them wont change the spring rate, so some cars are fine to cut with no ride quality changeOriginally Posted by blackshine007

Funny you should post this.
I saw a black maxipad today with HID bulb on a stock Halogen system. The light was going everywhere and barely anything was visible in front of the car.
The best part is, he probably doesnt think this is a problem and likes his "mod".
I dont care how you mod your car - if you blind me, then YES I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT.
listen man...not to sound like a complete *******, I could care less about you. And like I said, yesterday I aimed my lights up higher to make sure I blind ppl.Originally Posted by Atlblkz06

So you'd rather endanger other's safety just because you could care less on the risks of someone running off the road due to them being blinded? So let's say your mother and father was carrying your sister and brother in the family car down the road and you just so happened to to be passing them up and they couldn't concentrate on the road ahead because it was being blinded. Your father tries to aim for the white line because the yellow line isn't in his site line. He barely sees it and goes momentarily flying off the road, catches a flat from the set of broken tree branches and is stranded. The point to my story is this, your stupidity is endangering others lives. That's all I'm trying to get you to see.Originally Posted by NissanTun3r

well i did angle my HID's down some. does that make it any better? lol
you would think 3k's arent very bright but damn they light up everything.
The faster you shift, the lower 1/4 mile time. I broke my buddy's ebay STS (I had been driving my mustang 5.0 w/stock shifter, so I could slam gears, got in his honda with a ebay STS and broke that bish in half)Originally Posted by simontibbett
As far as the 7 mods (from my experience and my opinion):
7. Truck Nutz- LULZ, dumbest sh*t ever. agree.
6. Fake Chrome- Cheesy. Looks cheap. Real chrome is nice though.
5. BOV- WTF? A blow off valve is an awesome mod to a DSM (one of the cars that has to recirc) as the stock can only hold 11-12psi. If the cars needs to be recirc'ed, then do it, but that doesn't make it stupid or useless.
4. Race Clutch in 200hp DD- I personally like a hard grabbing clutch. One reason I got rid of my 2g GST is because I put a OEM style duralast clutch in it. My GSX has a Spec Stage 3. I <3 it.
3. Cheap exhaust- I've had some cheap exhaust set ups and some nicer set ups. My cheaper set ups sounded better.
2. Wings/spoilers- I think some look very good, some not so much. If you're rocking a mugen wing on your RSX or a ITR on your LS, sweet, sh*t looks ballin.
1. Suspension mods- Ummm, wow. I've had cut springs, ebay coilovers, skunk2 sleeve coilovers, stock springs, skunk2 lowering springs, eibach lowering springs, etc. My cut spring cars rode nice, handling improved drastically. Ebay coilovers were semi bouncy, but not too bad. Skunk2 coilovers were very smooth, but not very stiff. Skunk2 lowering springs were harder than my eibachs, so they handled a bit better, but my car with cut springs felt better.
All in all, 6 and 7 from that list were good. The rest was pretty much stupid.

LOL I didn't really aim my headlights up to spite anyone...I was just j/k
My headlights are aimed at about what they should be but I'm sure they still do glare and blah blah blah damn near everyone has HID's in halogen headlights so everyone can cry about that all they want, no one is going to change it. And btw, cars that come stock with HID's would blind me too, but I have 5% tint
Simon tibbett, I've never met you outside of this forum, and if I did, I would hope you'd talk all the **** you do here to my face...Get off my nuts
I really just don't see the point in putting HIDS in your halogen set ups. I mean if your stock headlights don't do it well enough you need to get your eyes checked. HID bulbs=ricer mod.
what if you have projectors but the car comes with halogen from the manufacturer, and you install HIDs, is that still considered rice?Originally Posted by alpine_xj

btw, buying projector headlights ftl...
**** is so fvkin ugly.
even tho a lightweight flywheel+race clutch in a 200whp car isn't that necesary (and a B!TCH for dd) it's a lot more fun to drive imo
- 06 sentra spec v
Ewwww projectors. All I'm saying if you drive a car with lights that aren't properly set up to run HID's, that's a ricer mod imo. People that buy egay HID's and throw them in their 90's honda and spray bright ass light all over the road and blind people piss me off. Do it right is all I'm saying. I know HID's make a difference, but my Silverstar halogens are more than adequate for me and don't make me look like an asshat to everyone on the road.Originally Posted by Ed
