Has anyone had any experience with this muffler yet? I'm lookin in to something more quiet and wanted to get some feedback on it.

WS mufflers are one of the best one there is. Quiet, nice, and stealthy.

Do you hare FI and need 80mm (~3" piping) yes, then get that one. Otherwise, get the WS2 version. You can't go wrong either way.

    That's why I said ~3in.

80mm = 3.14" OD, which would result in the ID = 3" given the wall is about .14" thick

We typically refer to it as 3" since we use US system and Apexi use metric system. No measurement is exact btw.

I'm actually already running a 3" Thermal. Just wondering the tone of this exhaust and if there are any drastic power differences between the 2.

There's no worry about the tone, it's one of the best sounding muffler I've herd, very pleasing.

About power, the WS may result in a small loss of HP since it's not a straight through design, but it shouldn't be significant (couple HP at most).

If you're NA, it may gain back couple tq as a trade off. I haven't own one. But heard many WS system and they all sound nice, even on the crappiest car

Hmm... I thought their turbo World Sport muffler was a straight through design and not chambered like their N/A version.

I'm pretty sure it's just the piping's being different. The internal is still chambered. From the sound I've heard on the Turbo muffler, it sounded the same, and that sound was definitely not the straight through.

If you want something quiet get the Vibrant STREETPOWER FLAT BLACK Oval Muffler (3" inlet). just hacked off my tanabe muffler off my 60mm catback and welded on the 2.25 flat black vibrant muffler. It sounds awesome very quiet its a straight thru design, and its painted with hi-temp black paint. It looks awesome on my black EM1. Rob at Mainstream did an awesome job. I'll post some pics later if you want me to, maybe even a sound clip via youtube if need be. One of the best sounding exhausts on a honda ive heard(NO droning going down the interstate at 80mph at 4500rpms). Shit if you want it even quieter get a vibrant 18 inch long resonator($80). The mufflers are $115 shipped on ebay!

3" Universal one is straight thru, NA one is not. I know it because I have used both.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm surprised how quiet it was for a straight through on my friend's car.

The only bad thing about WS2 3" Universal is that it is HUGE. It is hard to fit. It did not fit my 97' civic hatch so I had to go with something else. Make sure to measure the clearance first before you get it.
