Huh? Not sure where you're getting your facts from. From the linked article:
    0-60:
    C63- 4.1
    IS-F- 4.3
    M3- 4.3

    1/4 mile:
    C63- 12.5
    IS-F- 12.7
    M3- 12.7

The C63 was always known to be quicker in a straight line simply because of more torque available from low down. Its the bends and curves that push the ///M ahead. Basically, the M3 wins the comparo simply because it offers the most sporty driving experience and thrill amongst the three and offers a stick as a real sports car should. However, the C63 is the real muscle car in this group with a massive V8 and loads of torque/hp.

What I'm really looking forward to is a shootout between the E92 ///M and the upcoming RS5. I've driven the current RS4 a few times and the gearbox, power, looks and aural pleasure are just a winning combo IMO. The IS-F may have super amounts of power but at the end of the day, it looks too ricey. The C63 would be one hell of a car, if only it had a 6 spd down the middle.

the ISF and Bmw are neck and neck, with the ISF having a slightly higher MPH in the qtr mile. They're all so close that it would come down to the driver, if you met one in the real world.

but the BMW's track time is 5 seconds faster than both the ISF, and the C63..............FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What gets me is how many people defend the BMW's "track prowess" as if THEY were going to buy the car to track it. .000001% of the drivers track the damn car, let alone a brand new one. Yes, we all know the M pedigree. No denial at all. But there is far more to any car than just how good their suspension is. Anyone ever heard of Tein? What happens when they put a full set of those puppies on an IS-F or a C63? Then it would out handle the BMW, then what?

My point is not hating on the BMW at all. The M's are my fav out of all the BM's. But to keep beating that same dead horse is gay IMO. What about fit and finish? What about reliability? What about plush? What about N/A vs FI reliability? What about stopping power? What about curb appeal? What about price? Where do all those things fit into any comparo? Those are real world questions that most of us would weigh when buying a new car, right? Not just which one "feels" better at the track that we're NEVER going to.....

The numbers don't lie. The BMW is by far the most nimble at the twisties, but in REALITY......how often does Joe Schmo.....I live in Alpharetta and I drive a Bimmer.....REALLY going to go to the "track"????? Now, bring out some old School E36's that people have modded to run and do run at the track.....and THEN those are going to kick everyone's a$$ all over the place...street or track. But the vast majority of people that rush over to the dealer to buy the latest Bimmer because R&T said it was great in the twisties NEVER take them to the twisties, so why put so much weight on that?

So M3 owners can't upgrade their suspension when IS-F or C63 owners can?

SHHHHHHH , you weren't supposed to catch that......

Seriously, my point was more that handling is but one part of the equation and shouldn't always be used as the benchmark.

LOL gotcha. If everybody wanted the same thing out of a car, then all cars would be the same. I am sure that all three of these will do fine in sales, it all comes down to what you want.

yea,it seems like people defend the M3 so much.......the C63 is a great car,not only in the straight like, its kinda like the Z06,its not a graceful turning car,but it has so much brute force to get it through and out of trouble
