    I saw a picture of it on Honda Tuning, any of you guys know something about it?

    there has been speculation for some time that honda would release a diesel civic in Europe. I have not heard or read anything that would suggest that we would get a TD civic here in the U.S.

    old news but...how does a 180hp/320tq civic type r sound....turbo diesel...

    turbo diesels are badass. Those Chevy trucks are f'n monsters.

    New car:
    95 S14 with RB25DET (stock boost)

    Old car:
    Turbo S2000 400hp/285tq on 9:1 comp & 11psi

    All i could find was info on was the N22A2.

    Bore & Stroke: 85.0mm x 97.1mm
    Cylinder Layout: inline 4
    Displacement: 2204 cc
    Valve Configuration: 16 valve DOHC
    Type: i-CTDi
    Compression ratio: 16.7:1
    Max power: 140hp @ 4000 rpm
    Max torque: 251ftキlbf @ 2000 rpm
    Redline: 4500rpm

    16.7:1... i thought id be higher
    251 ft lbs in a honda
    4500 rpm isnt that bad though.

    any idea what the n22a2 motor is in? I couldnt find hardly any info on it.

    do yall think this n22a2 will hold its own against motors like the b16, h22, b18 or any othe popular current motor?

    dont even compare them .... b16....h22...or any SOHC will be able to out run this n22a2 on top end any day of the week . and maybe while doing this get better mpg lol .... booooooo for new honda's going diesel .... no more vtec

    i totaly agree with you but just something else to think about....what about after market mods for it i mean lets say you uprade the n22a2 and hypothetically (think thats spelled right) make 215whp imagine the amout of torq you would have.

    no no i agree 100% i dont think the n22a2 would stand up to any of the current motors and yea alot of honda are starting to look like they came strait out of a star wars movie i was just saying it as some thing to think about.
