If you boost your S2, you would be alot faster than both Evo and STi. Of course, heavily mod both of them and you'll have yourself a quick ass sedan. That comes with all wheel drive and you wouldn't have to worry about breaking anything, unless you go with an Evo. Lol I heard that the s2k's weakness is it's differential, right? So you would just have to baby it, but your s2000 already looks clean, I would just boost it and call it aday. :p

I'll keep the s2000 and boost it also. For reliability wise, just supercharge it.

both are good choices, its really which one you want more, i mean no more new evo ix and we got 1 new 2007 sti left at my dealer so..... you prolly are better off used or take the wait for the 08 sti/ evo x.

What is your motivation? If it is only boost, keep what you got and boost it. If you want a boosted AWD sedan I say Evo for tuneability and top end speed. The STI is the TQ monster. Its harder to get HP's out of it though.

If room is what you want. You can't go wrong with an STi or Evo. Now it all depends on what you feel fits you better, go test drive both and see how you like them. Stock they're both basically identical.

Never had any problems out of mine. Definitely one of the fastest cars I've had and it was extremely reliable. It was my daily driver.

evo all the way. whens the last time u seen and STI run 11's on stock turbo? i have personally never seen that happen but i have seen many evos run 11's on stock turbo. mods for an evo are alot cheaper than with an STI also.

    Default awd

Either way it will be a huge change for you. I am still not used to no 8500 rpm redline. I am still not used to having to wait forever for the power to kick in. I love my wrx esp. with all the bolt ons i have done. AWD was a huge kick in the pants to get used to driving in the twistys before i could actually grasp the fact that controlling the slide is alot easier. I love my new sedan and when i go to upgrade again it will def. be for another awd sedan. I think you will be extremely happy with either one! Just like everyone else has said go test drive both and see what you like. I think it was turbo magazine that just did a article about the newer sti's tuned/ by ams. It was a pretty interesting article were they only put like 2200 in to the car and ended up with like 400whp/460 whtq or something like that. Anywhoo.. thats just my two cents!

thats 1 vid u found on the internet though. theres a person that posted in this thread that ran 11.6s all day in his stock turbo evo. of all the times iv been to import showdown, tunerfest, SELOC track days, import face off events ive seen a handfull of stock turbo evos run 11s but not 1 stock turbo STI even touch low 12's

not saying to cant hit 11's in a stock turbo STI but its ALOT easier to do it in a evo

    Not bad.

That's a first but Evo's have still been and still do run consistently faster times on stock turbo.

After I ran my 11.6 I found that other Evo's have been hitting low 11's and even high 10's on stock turbo.

You have a point, a good reason is that not alot of Subaru owners push their cars to it's limit. You have to take into consideration that the 4g63 has been out alot longer than the ej25. So they're not caught up to the Evo's yet. The STi was running simple bolt-ons, unlike subie's it's easy to make power with Evo's cause of cams and other small upgrades that alot of subaru owners don't do.
