I totally agree here. Think about the cars you see with gold trim - big expensive land yachts, caddilacs and lincolns and buicks and oldsmobiles. They say "I'm so rich i can gold plate my car!! Your car is chrome? How cheap." I expect the person riding in a car like that to get out carrying a gold plated cane and wearing a purple velveteen suit with a feathered fedora. I guess it's just stereotyping, and if that's what you're going for then more power to ya. But even when i see, i dunno, stock Toyota Camrys that came with gold badging and pinstripes it looks way too pimpmobile for my taste.

Of course, like he said ^^ if you're gonna do it then do it right. Go the whole hog. Gold palte the engine cover, heck do the brake calipers if you can, really do the whole thing. Don't cheap on it, because the whole point of gold plating is to look like you have so much money you CAN.

oh, as far as how to change the color of all the inner workings of the car, that i really don't know. If you wanted to go with red you could actually get an audi or Tiburon head unit for your radio, but replacing everything else...No idea. It'd be down to taking it apart and finding out how it worked.
