I like your first idea much better than the second, the gold might come off as "pimp" if you were in...i dunno, an el dorado, but on an altima it's gonna look ricey, no way around it.

Your first option sounds kinda neat though. I agree with not buying anything you're gonna replace later - save up and do it right the first time. Also, you didn't mention any kind of body kit, spoilers, etc...not going to do anything? or just don't know yet?

Also, it sounds very black-and-white, but doesn't seem like you're going for a panda look. I'd like to see a bit of color. Maybe blue neons? Have you ever been in an Audi, with the headlights on? Eeeeverything lights up red - the radio, the numbers on all the buttons, the climate control, the sunroof switch, even so far as the window up/down buttons and the reading lights in the backseat of the car. All the icons are red. You could do something similar to that (it's a really cool effect) in your altima. I've also seen people replace those silly foot lights with blue bulbs. I dunno why i picked blue, but any color would work.

I think something like that would give it that sort of pop. You know, it's just a nice clean show car but when you turn the lights out it sort of comes alive. Or maybe that's too ricey too; i'm losing track of what is and what isn't.

Did you have any plans for lighting?

I mean..I'm liking the gold emblems cuz i saw it on a skyline someone did...pretty cool, but i am leaning more to the 1st option too. I don't think the altima needs a body kit...it's pretty nice the way it is, but for now I'm not gonna deal with it. I already have the stock spoiler...anything else I think would be rice on this sort of car.

I thought about neons vaguely, but you're right..that would add a nice pop to it. The inside of my altima lights up burnt orange on the dash, controls, radio, etc., so i think that would be good. If I want to completely change the color though..how would i do that?

Thanks for the input, man. I don't understand how gold is ricey...if I'm going for a show car unique Snap and Pop type deal! Please explain this...someone
