If he's not oing to run it ragged, then the clutch will not be an issue until time takes it's toll. Later, QD.Originally Posted by theprofiteer

Are you getting 2 clutches done on 2 different S4's?
You can get a RS4 Clutch for 400
Labor is around the 7hr mark.
60 X 7 = 420
70 x 7 = 490
Do the math
What shop do you know of that specializes in Audi's that will charge anywhere near $60 or $70 dollars an hour labor? Most dealers start off around $80 and keep going higherOriginally Posted by St0lenR
K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
Eurotech does it for $70 Autobahn does it for $65 and Assist does it for $60
All well known respectable shops here in GA
buddy of mine got an S4 ragged it out and withing 2 months of owning it burned the clutch, my thing is this, DO not get a USED S4, remember the rule on buying a performance car, just like marrying a porn star, its been fucked hard way many times before you.
heres my: STI probably the best choice.
unless you just want to do it yourself, I'd go with the rx7
RX7 FTW
why dont you just buy a new Si? that way you will have a car with a warranty and it will be brand new.

Based on the mods done to it [upgraded turbo, IC, BOV, etc.] the car was raced. Like I said, I've got 1 car already built, plus I'm going to build the Si, so I don't plan on running my new car too ragged, and I don't want what is potentially someone else's problem. I really like the ITR, I found, I mean, it's completely virgin, and only 55,xxx miles, but meh. The more I look, the more I find better options.RX7 FTW
I'm kind of leaning towards StolenR's audi, if he's still got it when I get ready to move. I'm waiting on a bonus check from some work I did to use as a sown payment, and I won't get it for another couple weeks.
well if ur wanting a car with back seat how bout a M5
aren't those normally over 20k?Originally Posted by HypnoToad
I voted S2k. Why? Because I own and drive an AWD everyday and let me tell you, parallel parking is damn near impossible in that SOB. RWD is best considering you don't really have to deal with Snow, Ice, Sleet...that sorta stuff. But in all honesty, see if you can find an 04 S2k, they produce more power than the earlier ones.
