It might be better to trust the person building it. Then you also have someone to hold accountable and someone with REAL experience. I also wouldn't be boosting my car unless I could afford it. That will be your first and biggest mistake. Be ready to do it right or be ready to have a sucky or blown up car and then the money you DID spend will be wasted.

Just my opinion after working at a shop for so long.

*edit, I'm not saying don't do you research. I'm just saying don't skrimp and talk to your shop.

the best thing about the D17 is a new motor w/ 20k miles is only about $600

I just want it boosted for Tunerfest... not racing... just for show. After Tunerfest is done I have plans on Buying another D17 and Building the bottom end, P&P Head, Custom I/M, Bigger Throttle body, Disco Potato T28, and hope to run at least 13-15lbs of boost daily. And im gonna be needing a shop for that. The motor i have now has 100,000mi on it. Its gonna be my DD motor until the new one is built.

Dezod has a D17 Civic 373whp and 280tq

I will have a bad ass em2... Its gonna happen. $2000 a month will turn out nicely in 6 months
