if you just want a fast spooling turbo, anything small.
psi gets thrown around a lot now. Psi doesn't mean really mean anything unless you put a turbo before it

I think a 60-1 is a little bit too much turbo for him especially if he's only looking for 280-300 whp

FUCK GRAN TURISMO EAST!! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

And it could be...it really depends on his driving style and what he plans on doing with the car.
The 60-1 is on the big side, but the K has no problem spooling it. It is a little laggy, which has it's pros and cons (more pros than cons IMO).
The turbo is sellection is like injector selection...it's better to have a little more than you need. Just how long ill you be happy with 280-300whp before it starts to feel slow??
GT28 and 35s would do great, they are also up there in $$ quit a bit. He could possibly be happy with a T3/T4 57 trim w/ a .63AR...or a T3/T4 60 trim, both would spool fairly easy and have the potential of making his power goals + some.

Very very true But then he's gonna have to worry about building the motor and that's when most people just say fuck it haha....
