When dealing with the hookup, that initial price doesn't include everything. Just like Mr.KiDD said, she's prolly going to have to pay for parts, on top of that grand, and by the time it's all said and done, she would have much rather gone top a reputable shop and had it done....
My knowledge is telling me she'll end up paying NO LESS than $2k...give or take.
