i did learn that if you put a alternator that works on it that it runs 100000 times better lol... im gonna go to the track this weekend and mess with it, if i can get it to shift with street tires and spinning then it will deff work with slicks. and if not im gonna take it to mike jones and drop it off and pay him to play with it bc he has the only h series ive ever seen shift right and mine has a saenz gearset?????

i just lost power after i switched from honata to neptune. After Import Showdown in July i recently did a compression test on the motor its 220 psi all across. Lastyear, whenever the car made 238whp/170tq was on hondata and B-series trans[compression number were 285 psi] I was also running 12.2@114mph [2225lbs].

Cranking pressure means nothing man . If you shaved the head your cams are out of degree causing the lack of cranking pressure . Unless your running race gas or e85 285 is way to high any way. You can moved your cam gear one degree and your cranking pressure will rise back up . Sounds like you have a healthy motor just need a little fine tunning. Just food for thought trying to helping . When we made over 215 cranking pressure on 93 octane we lost power tried to detnate. 285 is way high . Pm me your dyno and I'll tell you whats up. Sounds like cams need decreeing to me and I don't mean just moving them like skunk says . Finding top dead center then moving them were skunk says, then play from there depending on what your vtv clearance is. Car runs great hope you get it were you want it. Put that baby in the 11s. Seriously I wouldn't worry about the cranking pressure so much .if you changed cams that could be why also. Bigger cams bleed off cranking pressure in order to run higher compression so your supposed to have less with a bigger cam and all that changes when it goes into vtec anyway.
