The turbo was brand new as I bought it a few days before he came and picked up the car. It's no longer my car so I could car less. I'm happy with my choice. I prefer s13's over a s14 and all the hype over the rb26....nah ill stick with the sr. Easier to build, parts are more abundant and cheaper to replace if it blows at the track. You of all people should know this.

I make power quicker in the sr then I would have in the rb26 that turbo would have took days to spool. It would have just been more hassle. Leaking fuel cell hacked wires ect no telling if the rings are bad since it smoked so badly at idle from all the fuel being dumped.

My issue was mainly the annoyance and funds to keep up a car like that. If I had the funds I would have kept it for sure as I know it's worth more. I don't mind taking a loss here and there its not like I took that much of a loss I traded a 8k car for a 6k or in your mind a 5k car for a 3k car. I'm about to drop another 2k into the sr coupe next week. Again this car isn't going to be built to your liking. It's being built to be drifted. It's my hobby and that's what I like to do because I enjoy it. I've done the whole drag racing and auto x and found out its not something I like.
