Spun the bearing on my old EJ205 slowing down from a 140mph pull, started knocking once I got down to 75mph or so. But there were 40K of hard miles on that motor and I think it was above stock boost for 35K of those.

Never technically "blown" a motor but my sr has been through a ton of shit in the last two years.... bent valves, blown headgaskets, warped head etc... Apparently Im getting away with a lot on a stock bottom end.

In his defense, he does drive the piss out of that car every single day (that it's running). . .I think it's over 100k now.

Back around '98 I had a thing for trying to add nitrous to the old D15 dual injector engines, as they were dirt cheap. Needless to say, I never got one to hold anything over a 100 shot, regardless of which fuel jet I used with it. I would say all together that Doug, my cohort in all of this, and myself probably blew 15 of these engines. I know of one weekend were we blew 4 from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon.

I blew 2 Pontiac Quad4 engines. The first suffered from detonation and blew a piston apart. The second had a fuel problem with a s/c and ended up going seriously lean and throwing rods through the block.

With my BMW, I have torn the S50 up twice. The first time the cylinder head cracked and it hydrolocked #3 or #4. Then the last time I bent 2 rods from boost spikes.

I blew up a friends s/c 302 in his foxbody when we took it to Colorado in '97. That was the last time that I ever drove a Mustang.

I blew several (4 or 5) B18's when first stepping into the FI Honda world back in '98-'99. Finally got it right when I took it to get tuned in FL. However upon first arriving, I didn't think that the drunk ass guy could even stand up, let alone tune my car. Well he did and his tune lasted 20K+ miles of pure abusive driving until the car got stolen.

I won't go into all the air cooled motors that I blew other than asking, "Have you ever seen a 1600cc blow 2 foot flames back through the carb as the carb is being blown off the engine?"

    Its slow... I promise

Dropped valve, smacks piston, piston drives valve into head, pierces water jacket.

Overboosted, stupidly removed fuel cut, bent two rods, cracked a piston, cracked a cyl wall.

Wrist pin let go, piston beat into head (nice ported head too) rod beat out wall.

I was practically forced to blow the first motor in my car, since GM wouldn't replace the bad oil pump.

it was there "mail" tune. which was supposed to be fine for the psi that was being run. Oh well. Live and learn.

LAST time i will ask, I still have those ford racing 39.5# Injectors. Do you need them? Or already have a set? Know anyone that needs them? $100, plus i have the PC BOV & a 10psi pulley for a PC.

1 - Spun a bearing on my old JDM B16 from running a dry 75 shot (tuned).

I've gone through several trans and clutch kits though..
