.....unless you are spending a rediculas amount of money with them, and letting them do ALL the work they arent the nicest people......

I wont go into details about my experiences but I've only heard bad things and seen amazing things. If you were building cars out of your shop and still not getting the reps about it like MPH does you'd probably make up some b.s. stories to hurt their business too.... just saying. Waste of money to go anywhere else in my opinion.

My car was tuned by Tim at MPH back when they had there old shop 1.5 years ago or so. It has always ran great tune wise. They tuned many of my friends boosted cars from cobras to a s197 novi gt. They do good work but people either love them or hate them, not for their work though. Tim and a few people are moving to chicago for a job opportunity and i think Jeff is opening his own shop or something.

lol, what i meant was, every time i'm by myself in her car, someone in a stang is tryin to get me to run against them. the car is a stock civic lowered 2inches with intake and exhaust. thats it. just a DD and i keep gettin these fools tryin to run against me. after awhile, it just gets annoying to be trying to go home, and i got folks trying to race me cause cause the civic has an aftermarket exhaust.

i'm not gonna run a stock single cam against a stock v6/v8. i'm not gonna run a car that isn't mine and speakin of, i won't run on the street. last street run i had was a few years ago.

not all folks are assclowns. just the DA's that was trying to pick on a car that doesn't stand a chance against them. the car is a DD. not a dragster. i think it might of seen vtec twice since the engine was rebuilt(80,000 miles ago). it barely revs past 4k rpms, not to mech. problems, more so driver won't let it.

About 5 years ago I had an 87' Coupe Roller in my Garage. Got pissed off at it one day after trying to move it around on some dollies I made and I took a sawsall to it. Wish I still had that damn car. That was when I got out of Mustangs. Threw away alot of great stuff, new carpet, complete Grey Coupe AND Hatch interior. Body panels, spare doors, sunroof, 8.8 posi rearend, 10 holes. Shit tons of mustang stuff. Prob $1000 worth of stuff easy.

yea i finally got all the shit worked out to go. there is a blog thing that kinda explains what was goin on. my MOS is 89G, or cook. i know, pussy, but i didn't have a whole lot to choose from and that was the only one with a enlistment bonus and stuff.

At least you joined! Get in, do your time, look for ways to advance yourself. Enjoy it while you are in as my four years enlisted were by far some of the best/fun four years of my life.

Just remember, do not trust your Recruiter, get everything in writing, basic is nothing but a head game with a physical side, and NEVER volunteer for anything. Oh and if you are asked if you like any type of sport in Basic, say no!

That's because Tommy will charge you $2K for "tuning" that you will need to redo later. Believe me, I have proof of it. And the price will be closer to $9K when he presents you the bill if you have the shop install it. Lots of little add-ons.

Just buy a Vortech kit and put it on yourself. It is not very hard.

One of my friend's bought a supercharged S197 with a MPH tune. It was a poor tune at best. Car never ran right on their SCT tune, and I verified that it was their tune. Nemesis saw that car in person on the dyno.

And thats the truth they are shitty. I bought a 19# sample tube and had it for a week and then switched to 24's and they wouldn't let me return the sample tube so I just had to buy one for the 24's.

lol i heard about it too. it was the one with the saleen twin screw blower on it? the car just about came apart on the dyno. then again, tim only produces great cars...

dont get me wrong, they are pretty wicked with 2v's and alot of 4v's. keep them away from a 3v tho.
