    Honestly I dont like 90 percent of the Mustang owners out there. Thats why youll find me around the import crews most of the time anyways lol


    Oh and believe me, I have stock GTs trying to run me too.

    So, I finally got my car back running the other night. I go out for a drive and I see this black 99+ mustang GT with wheels, exhaust, and who knows what else. He had really short gears, so I'm guessing 3.73s or 4.10s.

    He's driving around town like a ricer, and I take note. Eventually, we end up at a red light, with a long straight away with no side roads or intersections for a good 3/4 mile. While sitting at the red light, I see him glancing over every now and then. The intersection is pretty uneven, so when the light finally turns green, we both just roll out slowly. We get past the intersection and he takes off. I'm still in first when he takes off, so I punch it. Blow off the tires, feathering the throttle to not hit the rev limiter. I grab second gear, immediately lose traction, slowly reeling him while smoking the 315 series drag radials. I hit third about the time I get even with him, and take off. By the middle of 4th, I was easily a full greyhound bus ahead of him.

    What the hell have you done to your car to be able to blow off a set of 315 555r's in 2nd?

    You sure you arent just spinning from low rpms, because theres no way your car makes enough power to blow off a set of nitto's all the way through 2nd, unless you where on a damp road.

    If they were at pull psi and cold they really wouldn't be sticky, would they?

    If you mean spinning because I prematurely shifted into second and it just blew them off... not really. I ran first out feathering the throttle so that wouldn't happen. Unfortunately, it still spun all through second. It was kinda nippy outside, which probably caused it, but dry.

    x2 lol, most of my friends drive imports. i have stock gt's try to mess with me too. but they probably think my 6r is stock...little do they know lol.

    i definatly agree. most dont. they think cuz they have a v8 they own all. even i get annoyed when other mustang drivers start acting arrogant as fuck.

    An SS just has the SLP suspension set-up and hood, maybe a lid and loud mouth exhaust. Any Z28 with a lid and exhaust is gonna be the same car with a different badge, minus the SS hood.

    I did it in my Cobra making 450+hp/tq on 315 BFG DRs, but I am with Mach and Repiks on this one. Dont think a bolt on LT1 will do it...on accident anyway.

    I get confused on why anyone with a GT thinks they have a "sports Car". GT's are just that. Touring Cars. There is very little power there stock...
    I'm just that guy that spends all his time printing.... T-shirts, banners, vinyl, etc.
