I have a hard time believing that what so ever. Im not saying that an MPH built car has yet to blow up but from a shitty ass tune alone???? That just sounds stupid.

The difference is that the mustang is labelled as a muscle car and most people buy them because of the power. That is where the irony comes from because the last time a stock stang was one the fastest or most powerful cars for the money was like 1989-1992. GM was owning them so bad from the day they released the LT1 F body, then the explosion of 13 sec import & luxury cars took over from there. There are probably about two dozen cars in a mustangs price range that aren't marketed as muscle cars that are almost as fast or faster, and the typical mustang driver does not seem to know this... they think they are special because they drive a mustang. horsepower, weight, gearing, none of that matters to them, all they know is that they have a mustang with a V8, so it must be fast.

I guess I'd rather be a douchey BMW driver than an ignorant mustang driver

Ignorant people would consider the Mustang a true muscle car, when its considered a Pony Car. The Mustang doesnt have the weight/price to be considered a muscle car and its never been marketed as one.

2011 model year will be a good year for Ford with the new 5.0 and the 305hp N/A V6 but then again the Z28 is supposed to come out then.


Dont pass over the new Roush 540RH, looks like a GT but with Roush badges and a 4.6L 3v making 540hp/510ft-lbs. It has already gone 11.8 @ 121 with the optional 18in rims..... Talk about a sleeper.

dont get me wrong they have built some nasty cars for sure but just from my experiances with them im not a fan. unless you are spending a rediculas amount of money with them, and letting them do ALL the work they arent the nicest people. like i said many of their cars are down right rediculas but i still dont care for em. i havent been impressed with a s197 they have built either. i have seen/shot a few of their 2v's and 4vs tho. and they were sick.
