close. s197's usually run high 13's low 14's stock.
id be willing to test that theory from a dig if you are ever in my area.
dont quote me but im pretty sure they run mid-high 13's stock on average. thats on aquatreads and full weight...i think apporx 3500lbs w/o driver i think

my only mods are a k&n air filter, and the mufflers are cut out. still has all 4 cats, factory 3.27's, and the factory intake.
catnip- 13.8 is about the normal for them. ive seen them run low 14s all day long aswell. my buddy got his to a 13.7 with a 5 speed.
i guess we need to wait for him to chime in...ive kinda gone into attack mode and this poor guy isnt even here to defend himself. lets hear from him what this car has going for it then form our opinions. he does seem pretty cocky for only having a b20....this could get good when he shows back up.
the crazy thing about that 3v motor is that they respond very well to minor mods...take a stock s197 add intake, headers, gear, and exhaust and you got a damn strong car....im ready for the coyote to hit the streets and threads like this wont exsist anymore
one of my best friends has a bolt on GT running 12.5s. he can drive like the damn stig tho lol. he has longtubes, intake, tune, LCAs and slicks. 3.55 gear cutting 1.6 60fts lol

Maybe he had intake and exhaust or something, it was a fully loaded convertible and he did a 13.2... I was pretty impressed. I had been wanting to run one for a while.

But to answer the OP unfortunately alot of Stock Mustang owners are new to the "Sport" or are just ignorant. I know when I first bought my Bone Stock 94' GT in 2001 I thought it was the greatest car of all time. It was the first "Sports" car I'd ever owned. Of course now I know that it was slow as piss and that the greatest car ever created is the Cobalt SS AKA "God's Chariot".
You are going to run into that type of person with any make of vehicle. Just look at them, laugh, and move on.

I need to pull my cover and see if I have 3.42s... having my PCM calibrated for 3.73s with the new tune threw it off 15mph crossing the 1/4 mile mark. Looking like stock gears or 3.55's.

i was off 10mph with a 3.55 calibration (stock gears) i re-cal'ed it with my sniper and the 4.10 cal makes it dead on...verified by peach county sheriff! i also turned the rear o2's off for a local guy with a mach 1 and i took him for a ride....he wants 4.10' now...the longtubes help out alot too
i want headers, im just scared of dropping the K.

You should be able to put them in from the bottom without dropping your K-member, And if not a K-member is cake. Let me know if you need help.

jap4rac- get a adjustable UCA at the same time....trust me it helps lol
I had a '95 gt with 3.08s. The base models came with 2.73s, and the gt and cobras came with 2.73s/3.08s... apparently it changed in '96. That's why I was confused.

Good thread mustang drivers are assholes well most.My friend had a Foxbody Gt he was a asshole but he got put in his place.But he met some other mustang assholes and they chumped him and start talkin shit.So he got mad and was like those dudes are assholes I said now you see how you look.
