    Either way, with my childish jokes put aside, Warner Robins is a hell of a drive. Thing is my parents just bought a beach house in Florida so going to the house I went through Warner Robins. As it is now, you have very respectable time for what you got in your camaro. What Im getting at, is when I go to the beach house next, I’ll pm you, and we will link up while Im nearby. Hopefully by then you will still be low 13’s rather than the 12’s you are aiming for.

    Yeah we lied and embelished it was funny. I've known Patrick for years. We tbought about doctoring the video but in the end we just left it at a few simple runs.

    Lankhoss and most other people on here think my car is some 12 second car I sandbag all the time. This exact vette ran 13.8 all night at commerce and I LOST. Vids speak for tjemselves

    Damn it Mike quit downplaying your car. I am tired of all this shit about how slow your car is. I will post the dyno graphs soon that show the real power of the mighty ITR. Lets just say its 400+whp at 17,000rpm (since that is where he really shifts it) and 138ft/lbs tq (still a honda). O and tell them about all the carbon and titanium doors and floor pans so the car only weighs about 1100grams.


    And as far as all the times in the 1/4mile compared to a street race from a roll. That is a stupid arguement. For example, Spoolin ran a 11.0 this weekend but trapped 141mph. A V8 rwd car may also run a 11.0 but at only 125mph. Now go do a 60 or 80 roll and will it be just as even as on the track.........

    Heres what i think, and this is my last post on the matter

    1) What SHOULD a car run vs what a Car actually runs is a very huge misconception. Too many variables. I always say what my car has RUN, not what it SHOULD run. To date its run 14.1@98mph (i think on one run i trapped 99 but had a slower ET). My old 190whp CRX trapped 103mph and ran 13.8. Weird.

    2) I really dont know what it SHOULD run, because ive never really pushed it to the limits. When it ran 14.1 i didnt have the cams,valvetrain, etc. Now i only gained 5-6whp, but i also gained a lot more RPM. So in theory it should be faster but ive never gone back to the track to find out.

    3) I BELIEVE that Commerce is a good .5 second SLOWER than ANY OTHER TRACK IN GA. Guys that are posting these fast times generally arent running at commerce. So either Commerce is SLOW or the other tracks are FAST (ie not accurate). I tend to believe that Commerce is just slow. So my 14.1 at Commerce, is prob a 13.5-13.6 at Steele, Reynolds, SDR, whatever. But thats bench racing and i dont like doing that. I can only form this opinion based on other cars with similar power racing at different tracks.

    4) My old 240whp CRX SHOULD have run 11.7-11.9 all day, but i never tracked it. That car was MUCH faster than the car i own now. Not even close to the same power. I believe in all reality if i give the car to a great driver with 22in slicks and a perfect track that isnt commerce, its a LOW 13 car at best. Im talking 13.2-13.3.

    I just dont see the 12s in it at all, i know how fast a 12 second car is, i would have RAPED that C5 vette. I would have RAPED Chunky and Voya, im not, im hanging with cars that make similar power. Cars that run in the 14s.

    The vette consistently runs 13.8s. I think he ran 20 times that night an it was 13.8-13.9. You telling me he puts Drag Radials on and it runs high 12s? gimme a break. Its an Auto vette with exhaust, how is that possible?

    FYI My 60Fts were 2.2. SHITTY i know, but no one was hooking that night.

    Yes i will concede its faster now, but i will have to go to the track to find out. Case in point, emminodagreat ran 14.1 with 260whp, he makes 310whp now an couldnt run faster than 14.3 at ISD.

    More power doesnt =faster, and i only made 6whp more than before. i went from 196whp to 202whp. Every other part of the graph was pretty much identical in power. Instead of revving to 8200 i can rev to 9000 if i wish thats all the valvetrain did for me. Its yet to be see if i would be faster with more rpms because i dont know if im faster by staying in gear and not shifting, or if i would benefit from shifting like i was before.

    Im running collins tomorrow night, that will put the issue to rest IMO. He makes 400whp IIRC or upper 300s. He should put the hurt on me. He should be a good 3-5 cars ahead of me IMO. Guess we will find out

    I'm still trying to figure out why any1 even GIVES a shit. Mike has never been a track whore - now people think that he OWES them a track night beating his STOCK BLOCK to snot.     But 200whp, B16 tranny, 2200 pound car IS a 12 second car with a good driver, slicks, and prepped track.

    Like I've been saying, come out to SDR one night and run it. I think it'll impress you if you'll get some slicks and drive the shit out of it.

    4) My old 240whp CRX SHOULD have run 11.7-11.9 all day, but i never tracked it. That car was MUCH faster than the car i own now. Not even close to the same power. I believe in all reality if i give the car to a great driver with 22in slicks and a perfect track that isnt commerce, its a LOW 13 car at best. Im talking 13.2-13.3.

    I just dont see the 12s in it at all, i know how fast a 12 second car is, i would have RAPED that C5 vette. I would have RAPED Chunky and Voya, im not, im hanging with cars that make similar power. Cars that run in the 14s.

    The vette consistently runs 13.8s. I think he ran 20 times that night an it was 13.8-13.9. You telling me he puts Drag Radials on and it runs high 12s? gimme a break. Its an Auto vette with exhaust, how is that possible?

    FYI My 60Fts were 2.2. SHITTY i know, but no one was hooking that night.
    Your car with slicks WILL launch HARD. It's light, great gearing, strong motor. You keep telling me how bad everyones cars were spinning, but you keep saying cars are slow at commerce. No wonder. A honda spinning/bogging and a honda launching hard are two different animals... running a high 12 NA honda from a ROLL is like running a 13 second anything else. 1.8 60' and 2.2 60' can be around .8th of a second difference in 1/4 time Add in spinning 2nd and 3rd gear, and you have your 12.

    My friends STOCK LS1 auto camaro CONVERTIBLE, so it was heavy, ran a 13.4. Corvette is lighter than just a regular camaro, then you add in it was a convertible camaro and the corvette had exhaust. With traction that's possibly a high 12.

    True I ran a 14.1 w/ 240 whp, and I ran a 14.2 w/ 310 doh! but i did have 2.7 60fts lol!
