    Default dyno'd the neon yesterday....

    on redstar performances dyno jet the car made a best of 267whp and 291wtq

    thats with intake, adjustable wastegate at 18psi and mainstream performance custom catless downpipe with the cutout open. still stock intercooler, fuel and tune.

    all 3 pulls were from 264-267whp and 288-291wtq :boobies:

    i was happy with the numbers

    thats what i said, at first i thought they dyno was alittle high but the car did trap 106mph with lots of traction so its about right.

    Like I tell all my friends with srt's to NEVER go to the track without a real set of tires. It's just a waste of gas.

    I said it 2-3 yrs ago, neons make good hp (best bang for buck). The wrong wheel drive is what kills the car for me

    I think their dyno is extreamly friendly. It said my STOCK cobra made 404hp

    yeah fwd does really suck if you cant get the car to hook, but this neon cuts 60fts like 80% of the evo/sti drivers

    i thought the same but my old neon made 297whp on mainstreams dyno and trapped 109.9 with a 2.0 60ft

    this car trapped 106 on slicks with a 1.8 60ft, lower 60=lower trap and its ROUGHLY 1mph=10whp so if a neon with 300whp traps 110 one with 30 less whp should trap 107....

    Yea that dyno was about dead on for alot of us. Was also the best turnout in awhile for a meet lol

    what did your car make yesterday?

    A puny 388/406 ..

    Ricer excuse time!!!

    Would of made more if I could of upped the timing..But the roads were wet so 22* of timing FTL!! Not to mention my boost gauge is reading 2/3psi higher. Time to replace it I suppose...

    thats interesting. i was trying to compare dyno #'s to traps on our cars....

    Yea.. I didnt have time to tinker with the diablo before the dyno.. So things were kinda outta wack I wont know for sure till I can see my dyno graph. But hey at least it drives like stock and moves out when I need it too

    I made 4 pulls So I hope all the numbers are on there. One at 18psi,20psi,21psi and 22/23psi

    I love them dude bang for the buck they are great cars. If you got the money for an evo then get an evo for sure but if you only have 9-12K to spend then there's not a better car IMO

    nice, my buddies 05 made 290ish whp and 320ish torque with the same mods basically...his is a FREAK!
    I do rb20 and rb25 wiring into s13 and s14's 300.00 shipped 24hr turn around turn ket start guaranteed! PM me for more details!

    Got that right, they are down to 10 g's. It's a tough choice. A paid off 13 sec rocket or a car with payments? arg. lol. I think whats killing me is the FWD and lack of rear power windows. But im on SRT forums to see if anyonemade a kit.

    yeah they make kits to put power windows in the rear i just dont care cause i dont sit in the back LOL and fwd doesnt matter because the only reason it sucks is cause you "cant get it to hook" but the 1st time i launched my car hard it hooked so hard coming out the hole so hard the sunroof cover slung open and scared the shit out of me

    13 second? mine has 200 bucks in go fast parts and slicks and it runs 12's

    thats tough, car payments suck. you need a to drive a bolt-on evo and a SRT4 that is done right, which is hard to find cause most people that own them have no clue what they are doing. then decide if its worth making the payment to you.

    its not tuned, has a fuel pump though, hes on the stock injectors and map clamp usually boost 19-21psi it depends on the weather, he also added spray now but hasnt dynoed again, but he's got into the 11's now with spray.

    if he doesnt have injectors im sure he has a fuel return line kit right? cause im at 18psi cause im on stock injectors and no fuel return. anything after 18psi you are running lean. hell my car is like 12.2-ish from 5500-6500 RPM's with the amount of boost im running.

    thats pretty much my plan, get fuel, tune or mapclamp and get the boost up then a 75 shot by the end of the season. well i still need an intercooler too.
