I remember him.
Few years ago he had his "brother the master mechanic " build the head. Then he brought it to TOPSPEED to tune it. VTEC wouldnt work, so after a few hours they told him it was a mechanical problem.
He called Batlground where i was currently employed, and i told him that Dan was AEM Certified and that i couldnt make any guarantees but i was a honda guy and have seen "no vtec" problems before and we could take a look at it.
He brings the car over and after about 2 hours on the dyno, we jumped the solenoid to get it to stay on all the time, the AEM was fine, oil pressure was fine, it was a mechanical problem.
Dan tuned his part throttle and idle so it was driveable. We told him that most likely when the head was being built something was not installed or installed improperly and thats why his VTEC no longer works. He didnt want to pay us to look at it.
So we charged him 1 hour or $140, and he went on his way, even though he was bashing ALL SORTS of people from TopSpeed and he was pretty much and arrogant prick.
About 3 weeks ago i run by Mainstream to pick up a car , and he was there having them tune it. VTEC apparently worked and i wont say what it made but it wasnt 650whp.
He apparently recognized me and tried to be a hardass and talk shit about how i "wasted his time" before. I laughed and chalked it up to typical ignorant ricer talk.
As he was leaving he was boasting about making 650whp on a stock motor.
Now, apparently Inline Pro has done it, and he thinks this is Gods Chariot.
I think his name is Brandon Stone IIRC.
Look Kid, a 600whp S2000 is fast, but its not fast enough to talk shit on a forum with MUCH FASTER CARS. Youll need more than 450 ft/lbs of TQ to talk shit on this forum.

I told you i wasnt a tech, even though i was helping Dan to try an diagnose your problem. I hot wired your solenoid while Dan was driving the car on the dyno, your VTEC wasnt working, even though you had oil pressure and power to the solenoid.
We told you that, and we were right.

I dont own any fast cars anymore, i think they are bad investments. I spent $15,000 on a car worth $1000, im def not spending $20,000 on a car thats worth $10,000.

Trying to wow people on here with your 650hp S2K is the wrong idea, because we are not amused. Trying to say bad things about Topspeed, Batlground and Mainstream on here is the wrong place also. You pay the big bucks when you take your car to one of those shops, but for good reason.

I never trashed the shop that handled business.
