    Default Bolt on 335i Vs Bolt on Rev-up G35c

    Hahah. I thought this was interesting. Guy in a descently modded G35 races a buddy of mines 335i 6 speed. The 335 has exhaust, FMIC, PROcede + custom tune etc. Note the 335 was hanging up a phone call on the first dig.

    True. Most people are saying he would've gotten 1-3lengths on him stock. They trap like 105+ stock. Hah, he had like 10-15 lengths by 100..I think that particular 335 w/ stock turbos is trapping 120+ and doing low 11's at stock weight.

    he's prob running low 12's

    those things really respond to tuning. Stock i was not impressed but tuned they are pretty quick.

    not saying their not but it reeled in a mid to low 13sec car. 350's or g's boosted with around run flat 12's to 12.2's with 410-440rwp a good drive and tires and trap 118-122. so, i put it in that category unless someone posts up some vids otherwise.

The car makes 426rwhp/498rwtrq on 100octane with the custom tune. I think similar cars are making around 400/450 with all the bolt on's and just the out of the box tuning. I'd like to see video's of it at the track as all I've seen are it running away from Modded M5's/M6's/e55's and the likes.

    I.M.O He gave a rev-up an enormous head start then continued to mountain car lengths on him. I believe that G runs mid/low 13's as he told me it had "all the bolt on's + tune." Keep in mind they only went to 100 in each and he got that far.

    Hah he's a SoCal guy..an Efriend. I think the G had full exhaust + tune..I could be wrong. Hah C6 vs 335i is two different worlds of a choice with the sole real similarity only being performance. I'll take a 335.

    ahh yes but i have to figure out where i get into grad school first. the c6 is cheaper and cheaper to mod.

    I dont know where you have gotten your info, but a supercharged G with ~400hp is barely gonna hit mid 12's. Trust me, I did a lot of research on boosting mine and thats the reason I didnt do it. To much money, not good enough results. G's are not drag cars. They are nice cars to cruise in that have just enough pep to get you in trouble.

    there's one of the 350 bout midway thru. 1evilz only went 12.2 that day but went 12.0x several times when we were at test in tune at steele on sat night.

    also there's a vid somewhere on here of a twin turbo'd g making 470 that went 11.8 last year at one of the races. cant remember of sharif did it or russell at z1. so if you took off 40 horses where do you think it would run?

    i'm not saying it's not a bad to the bone ride! you know i love bimmers, had more than a few in my day. and if it werent for their crappy(imho)warranty i would probably still have one(ex-wife not included but i pay for it) i'm just saying for th e# of mph you listed that's more along the lines of a 12.0 pass not a low 11. especially for a turbocar with that kind of torque. i actually thought the torque and hp would be opposite like the poopra(inline 6) but i guess not. he has more torque than me at 750rwhp

    Thats kinda hard for me to believe. Low 11's and 120+ trap speed? With just 4xxwhp on a rwd car. I want proof, not a "oh its suppose to run so and so time," im talking an actual time slip or video.

    My brothers 335 coupe went [email protected] with just a $400 "map clamp" of sorts. Not bad for just $400.

    Well proof is everying and all I have is word of mouth and some time slips from boards. All I could find right now was this...

    It's a bone stock AUTO 335 with just AA software and drag radials. Now for those of you who don't know the AA software is very conservative also (30-50whp less then the PROcede tuning).

    Not to bad..The time slip I couldn't fine was a PROcede one with full exhaust and front mount. He ran 11.9@117.
    The original car posted is making alot more power, more mods, custom tune ontop of the the PROcede and a race gas tune. I was abitious to say low 11's at120+ but I see its possible with 500rwtrq. After all I believe he's making peak torque up the whole rev band from like 1500rpm.

    haha yeah they are torque monsters. Stock they make like 280-300rw from like 1500rpm

    ^^^. Thats sick. To bad i could buy billys vette for the cost forged charged him to build that.

    Here's one of my friends..Factory 2.8 Liter, full interior 8" rims! He did this with a 1.77 60ft and topped out way before the finish line (3.38) gears.

    why be like everyone else and get a vette everyone knows with a few little things vettes can move out.

    that was only 13psi his wastegate he has even turned on his BC for 1/4 yet. who cares about price to each his own. if you want a fast car buy something light and drop something big in it. he wanted to build a 350Z.

    naw berto is a ballar. its a basic sleeved built block (3.5L)with a greedy twin 18g's only. prototype DPs with open dumps.... ~cries I want open dumps~ anyways... and a aps dual 3" exhaust. i forgot what EMS...I think AEM something 32x32 res. low boost 13 high 15 for now. hes going to turn it way up and add meth he wants low 10s high 9s in the end.

    idk 10k for the motor then another say 15k for install and the twins and other stuff. maybe 30k all together.

    While I like to see the 335i win I just do not currently trust any of the tunes outside of Dinan. Unfortunately from what I have read Dinan is the only tune increasing water pump RPMs while increasing boost and getting that extra power out.

    I don't know who did his tune but I would find out if they also did this. If not get them to do it. Something that is kind of important when you have an electric water pump and adding an extra 100 horse... That is plenty more heat...

    I am holding off to see what problems arise. I don't feel as though the engine inside the 335 is even 1/2 the stoutness of say the m50 family. Don't know how long they are going to be holding together doing this. We shall see.

    I'd have to see that to believe it.....unless its completely stripped and weighing in @ 2800lbs wet with the driver.

    Yah you will need to get the weight down when your 350 or g35 is powered by a boat anchor... errr I mean VQ.
