I do have a question for the Obama supporters in the thread, how can you be ok with the FACT that he has shown multiple times that he doesn't believe in the country? If the man is aspiring to lead this country, how can he do so without believing in it and participating in it? Even if you don't believe in the "words" of the pledge can't you at least participate to show your respect for the ideals behind the words? I personaly don't care what religon his father was, something about Obama as a person strikes me the wrong way. He has no military service experience, affiliation with a church that no one can deny has had a very racist message being broadcast by its preacher, and a sketchy at best voting record...thats not someone I'd want to lead me and my country. Kidd does make a good point that one of the main factors why he seems to be a strong contender is the fact he is black. His messages he broadcasts aren't new or revolutionary, in reality it's a pot luck of many things ppl before him have said.
