The young child poverty rate has grown twice as fast among whites as among blacks.

Although the incidence of poverty among whites is relatively low compared to blacks, the rate of white young children living in poverty grew twice as fast as that among blacks (38 percent versus 19 percent) between the late 1970s and the early 1990s. White children are the largest single ethnic group of young children in poverty. In 1994, there were over 2.2 million young white children living in poverty compared to 1.9 million young black children and 1.7 million young Hispanic children.

Sounds to me like its a lack of work ethic. Slinging dope is easy and a "get rich quick" deal. No one wants to work for anything, they all want it handed to them. This is one of the reasons that I dislike young people of America.

Also, minorities tend to be targeted more than whites (I droved down tara blvd. one night around 2am and was amazed by the amount of cops that where out).

And wtf does seeing a lot of cops on road at 2am have to do with what race you are??? Its statistically proven that more crime and accidents happens after 1am. I drive around late at night and see a bunch of cops I say "hey, there are a lot of cops out" not "hey im a minority, they must be after me."
A LOT of the cops here are non-caucasian, i dont believe "they"(whichever race) profile. If you get pulled over you have done something wrong or have faulty equipment. Judging by what people drive on IA I could see them getting pulled over often.
