well I work there now and have for the past 2 years off and on...I was on a leave of absence when the shit hit the fan, but they fired some great people

and to correct the salary cap statements above...even installers were included in the salary cap because one of the most experienced installers i've met was fired for being above the cap.

The company is turning around as there are still experienced people there...they didn't just fire people because they were above the cap. They were offered salaries at the cap or offered different jobs if they had any sort of experience/time with the company...at that point, no matter how messed up it was, it was the employee's choice to leave.

Also, a lot of people lost their jobs due to the fact that the company simply cut their position all together. We had a brand new S&I manager @ the barrett parkway location who had worked there in various positions for a number of years, but he got fired after only a few months in that position because the sales and installation manager position was dropped entirely.

I'm in no way defending what they did because they dropped my ass back down to starting pay even though I was only on a leave of absence, but overall the company is more relaxed now and there is still good money to be made in certain positions, but in case you are looking for an installer job...the shop at barrett parkway is looking because all of us are leaving soon for better paying jobs lol
