So let's break down from what appears you can afford.

You brag about having a D16z6, when in fact that without boost, it's possibly worth less than a fly's left testicle, spare the right.

So you did a motor swap to get rid of the LX's 1.5L for the EX's 1.6L which to me don't make any sense. For the effort, you could've dropped in either a B16a1 or even a B18 (take your pick, VTEC or not). So only "upgrading" to a SOHC 1.6 don't sound like much progress.

Hondas break as often as any other vehicle out there. Especially the trannies. So please ricer, preach that BS to some other Choir. You, kind sir, are the reason why no one like hon-duhs.

Do not underestimate Mazda as a company. Maybe they've only made a handful of sports cars, but let me run soem things by you.

Only 33% of Mazda is owned by Ford, and the sale was made 1991, my car is a 1987, Ford only supplies the base(worst) engines in the Mazda3 and Mazda6 and share a few electrical components. Also, a little seldom known fact, but Mazda has the most cars entered in races (both amature and professional) in the world. Mazda was the only Japanese manufacturer to ever with the 24 hours of Le Mans, with the 787B finishing 1st, 6th, and 9th place victories in 1991 and a the Mazda Lola T616 dominating the C2 class in 1984 with 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th place victories.

Actually, those engines was built by Ford, but designed by Mazda and Cosworth. In stock form, they hold 13 lbs of boost. Cosworth makes all motor parts which gets over 200whp. Those motors (2.0L & 2.3L) is by no means crap.
