    buy a d16z6 and swap the d16a1 pistons in...11.2:1 compression ftw!!!

    I'll save you the time and trouble...

    REBUILD your D16A1. I've gone through 5 "JUNKYARD" motors, and they all lasted maybe a week combined.

    They are just too old.

    and to the Z6 with PM7 pistons.. Try more like ~12.7:1 Static Compression.

    i was planning on rebuilding whatever motor i got to put into it. i think if i got a z6 id have to figure something out to do with the drivers side motor mount. so looking for a A1 or ZC prob.....
