    Well after driving both race-prepped 930 and 993, I liked the 930 better. Maybe it's because I've never been a fan of awd. The 930 was just very agile and was a tad tail-happy, which I love, never had to worry about understeer. There's nothing wrong with the turbocharging either, maybe for a street car but on a track there is minimal lag if you keep the revs high. On the topic of problems, the 993 has it's problems too (especially the turbo cars) I'm sure you know just as well as I do. It's just my opinion to go with the 930 as I know myself and many others prefer it to the 993. It just depends on your driving style and what you are looking for in a track car.

    That said I would love a 993TT as a street car, but I'll stick with the 930 as a "cheap" weekend track car.

    But like Leh said, go for the GT3.
