    ...z-tune beat the 360 modena by a couple seconds on tsukuba circuit..sti cant compare, its a little toy in front of the skyline

    I wouldnt talk shit about evos, Because they actually will had both car their ass, and it is way cheaper to mod a evo than both of those cars. Has a sti hit 1000hp yet? and if it did how much did it cost.Sti's and evo stock for stock are pretty comparable. But when they are modded it is a completely different story. And a evo's bottom end holds up better, but our tranny sucks.

    dude I am not comparing the evo to the skyline. Only to the sti, and also check best motoring vids, sti c spec was not that much better than the mr, and If you want to bring up c spec, I can bring up fq400 which completely owns any sti stock for stock

    haha the spec C is in the same class as the MR, so they are comparable. They are in the same power realms, so give me a break. lol why not bring up the FQ500 while you're at it.

    Yes an STI has hit 1000hp, a couple of them actually. Specifically cosworth.

    If you're playing the FQ400 card I guess I'll play my S202/S203/S204 card or even figure in the UK Type 25 STI, all of which are the same performance. I'm done with this thread now.

    and they are slower that the fq series man, come on. I am a sti fan, but it doesnt compare to a evo and our cars handle better. Also how much does it cost to mod a sti, and when you break it how much does it cost to fix, almost as much as a bmw, now I give you some of that rally shit but that is it. Have drove both cars enough and the evo is better.

    sorry dude this thread has gone way off topic and turned into a pissing contest/ricefest. honestly STi and Evo are nice, but neither is (that) great of a car. I may not know exact figures but i know it would cost a hell of alot more than 12k to put an evo at 1000+, unless it was just for dyno purposes and never actually driven.

    no man friendly convo, But I said 12 to 20k. 18k to 20k really being that right area. But what I am saying it takes a lot for a sti and it is very expensive.

    Neither is that great a car, are you kidding me. They are both awesome cars, if you think that neither the evo or the sti is a great car then clearly you have never driven them on track. I've driven both in stock form and modified form and they are indeed great cars. Now are they skyline killers no they arent nor are they sports cars, but as far as 4 doors go they are awesome.

    lol, this thread went to shit. NONE of you are posting factual points, they are all just opinions "my evo", "my sti". I have yet to see a 1000whp evo, 988whp is close, but you guys are getting technical so i will too. There is a sti pro drag car running faster than any of the evos, that shits running 30" slicks on all 4 wheels.

    Also doesnt cusco have a jgtcc impreza? I believe its black,red, and gold and its rwd. I know the jgtcc skylines are rwd. Subaru has also done really well in wrc.

    uhh there are 3 evo's over 1000hp smart guy, Two have been on tv for that exact reason, and one is owned by a seventeen year old kid.

    Also why is everyone hopping on the supercars nuts? Who gives a shit about a skyline, its a car that you will never own and/or race. For the performance per dollar the evo or sti is a much better. Other than the WOW factor the only reason to own one of those cars is for social status, just like any other expensive cars.

    nobody ever specified gas or no gas and they are running race gas. The kid was and his car was on nopi tuner vision or redline on speed tv. Chris black evo from flordia broke 1000hp. Also hit search in import atlanta and see ams 1000 hp dyno graph. Also didnt David Bushar hit 1000hp

    The black evo I highly doubt is making 1000whp, at montgomery his traps werent anywhere near that power level. Still no links....
