COMPRESSION READING STUPID ASS!!! YALL JEALOUS ABOUT THIS SHIT
cuz don't know about spec reading and telling pplz shit!!!
here is guy who tested his motor when he had 20,000 mile and
did wet compression!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I have a 93 Late Model Redtop SR20DET, and I ran a compression Test for the first time (been driving the car for over 20,000 miles now, lol).
The S14 Service Manual (I assume that it is very similar if not the same) states that the standard Factory compression should be 156 psi, with a minimum of 128 psi. Also that an acceptable difference between cylinders is 14 psi.
My SR:
--------------
#1: 145 psi
#2: 130 psi
#3: 143 psi
#4: 135 psi
So my question is this. My compression is well within spec, but I do have a difference between cylinders of about 15 psi. Should I be worried? Or should I just take in account human error in reading the gauge? Also, will I be fine by putting on a GT2871R?
