I am selling this 1995 BMW 325is.
here are the numbers:
1995 BMW 325is
120k miles
auto transmission
blue paint
leather interior
heated seats
sunroof
power everything
aftermarket cd player
tires are 80%
cranks runs and drives good
needs some tlc, here are the problems is has:
Air conditioner doesnt work
passengers door has broken door handle
headliner is messed up
a few door dings
With some work this should be a $5000+ car.
Asking $3500 as is.

I'm Very interested in this. How much is it to swap out the auto transmission for manuel? Does anyone here know a good shop that could do this?

i wouldnt mess with the tranny, i would just look for a 5-speed, i have one for sale about 3 weeks ago... but its sold
also not to rag on ur thread but when buying a E36, you need ALL MAINTAINCE RECORDS!!! check for the timing and cooling system

well worth it 120K, motor is just now starting to break in. to do a tranny swap your looking at a ball park of 1500-2000.

Swapping trannys on bimmers isnt cheap nor easy....these Getrag trannys were built to be non-serviceable. if that tells you anything...
Still, its a great deal for a great car, I'd like to have another bimmer daily, but my current project bimmer takes all that money from me.
tranny swap is a days worth of work if all the parts are their. no big deal

yeah it'd be hard to make the swap worthwhile... you'd be better off just buying a manual. Although it is a great price for the car if you don't mind an auto
